The Poetry of Christmas Now

Today I want to share what happened to me yesterday and show you what can change when we change.

After several weeks of intense (but great) work, I decided to take time for an evening walk again. As I was walking along I noticed my thoughts thinking themselves. Thinking of work, thinking of my to do list, thinking of so much, until I noticed I was thinking, not enjoying. Here I was being a Christmas Scroogette so I decided to change the thinking and just stop and "be" for a little while.

I was almost 3/4 of the way done with the walk at this point. But it was as if a new lens came across my eyes and I was pulled right into the NOW. When you get to the NOW, amazing things can happen. I felt this beauty all around me. Each image I looked at turned into words.

Here are those words I posted on facebook
"I walk the raised line, a curved long black tar snake. Soft feather clouds scatter like leftover angel wings. Branches decorated with pregnant buds burst with promise. Soft wind gently lifts my hair better than any spray. A cold sun doesn't set as much as dissolve. Tiny birds hop out of Christmas card poses to say "hi..." as I step into Winter's Heart." --Terri Marie (Thank goodness I took time for an evening walk)
In a season of mad dashing and darting please take the time to feel the wonder. You deserve to be part of it.

A Christmas Movie Card

In case you haven't sent out Christmas cards yet (That's me too)
here is a short little movie I made about
finding the true holiday spirit.

For those of you who celebrate winter holidays other
than Christmas, I send you the warmest seasons wishes
and one day I hope to do a little movie for your holiday too.
Wishing you all the best,

Terri Marie
