The Magdalene Easter Egg

Inside the Grace Cathedral in San Francisco is
a striking painting of Mary Magdalene holding a
stunning red egg.

The story goes that Mary Magdalene was called
before the Emperor Tiburius ofRrome.
She gave the Emperor a gift of an egg and
explained Christ's resurrection as symbolic of an egg.

Naturally, the emperor was skeptical. Tiburius remarked that
if that were true, then let the egg turn colored.
The egg in Mary Magdalene hand turned bright red.

This is what started the tradition of
coloring and exchanging eggs at Easter.

Our minds don't always welcome
enormous new thinking like imagining an egg to be red.
Yet it is enormous thinking that will get you out of
whatever situation you are in,
transforming it into a completely
new and desirable form.

What can be changed or transformed in your life?
What new colors would show up if you let them?
Let yourself be open to enormous thinking
this Easter and always.

Meanwhile...Have the Best Easter!
Rise to your best self!

Remember who you are!
